Train Shows

In my opinion, train shows are one of the best ways to find many of your railroad's needs at great prices! I have found amazing cars for $5, flex track for around $2, and much more. The one downside with shows is that if you're looking for something very specific, it might not be there at all. This has happened to me with finding code 55 track, be it flex track or turnouts. I will discuss that more later. But don't let that stop you.

Going to the shows really lets you connect with the community. I have always met some of the nicest people at shows. Not too long ago I met someone that was with an N scale club. He convinced me to switch to N Scale and was also a huge help in starting the process. He showed me a vendor and walked me through multiple options on starting my railroad. So train shows are not only a place for amazing deals, but for meeting wonderful people in this tremendous hobby!
